Enter up to 20 IPs (Each IP must be on separate line)
A Bulk GEO IP Locator facilitates you to check the geographic location of a number of internet protocol addresses in its approximate position. A bulk lookup is not intended to search for addresses one at a time, but rather to structure the information for comparison about addresses. An “API List of Bulk GEO IP Locator” page was discovered on Free SEO Pro, but the current version and performance couldn't be verified. Location estimates are helpful hints rather than evidence of an individual's location or evidence of the real-world location of a device.
An IP address is a unique identifier for a network connection which enables Internet communication. Using IP geolocation, you can use information stored at a location data provider to link an address to a rough geographic location.
Bulk" refers to multiple addresses per workflow. Countries, regions or cities will appear in a typical bulk report, depending on the service and availability of records.
It's a tool type that is not the same as GPS tracking. It is not generally possible to use an IP location estimation to determine whether which exact address an individual or a household is located in, or even what the individual's name is.
The provided page has been called Bulk GEO IP Locator. It failed to examine input controls, the maximum batch size, supported ip versions, location fields, download options, and its underlying provider.
Hence instructions below outline a non-aggressive, general sequence. They don't say that side of the web page has certain buttons or export capabilities.
A geolocation service usually verifies the addresses provided against a kept map of IPs and geographical information. Record keeping and record updating varies from provider to provider.
An IP address can belong to an Internet provider, hosting network, mobile carrier or VPN exit server. Such affiliation does not necessarily reflect the identity of the user of the connection.
IPv4 addresses actually consist of four decimalized groups as in the 192.0.2.10 case. In IPv6, the addresses are written in already mentioned Hex notation - in the example above it was 2001:db8::10. These examples are used for reserved areas of documentation.
A specific service may be available to or for both address families or just a single address family.
An IP database can also be used to correlate the IP with that of a network operator instead of with the location of the user of the IP. Estimates can be complicated by mobile networks, proxies, corporate gateways and VPNs.
Geolocation data provider MaxMind clarifies that geo data is not always accurate and that there is no one-to-one match between local geodata and its own data, at the level of a specific household or individual.

After reaching the Free SEO Pro tool, check out the details of the instructions, and how much information you have to input, before you enter anything.
Go to the Bulk GEO IP Locator page.
Make a short list of public IP addresses that you have permission to research.
Determine if the interface supports one address per line or some other addressing mechanism.
Specify a number and type of addresses that explicitly are supported by this page only.
If there is a control available for them, use it to begin the search process.
Check: individual returned addresses and any location related information.
Make a separate entry for any that is not given: do not assume that missing data is an invalid address.
Only export if there is an export option in the interface.
Don't upload any private customer records and/or confidential logs of the network until you're familiar with how data is handled.
Suppose that a Web server's administrator is looking at a diagnostic report, which contains three addresses:
192.0.2.10
198.51.100.20
203.0.113.30
These addresses are used only for documentation purposes and cannot be used to create any sort of real world location results.
For a true investigation, the administrator would replace the legal public addresses and verify if the service updates on country/regional estimates.
Assume that two addresses exist which are both valid and are associated with two different countries. This may be due to varying networks, hosting, etc or VPN routes that is.
No actual look up was done with Free SEO Pro and no output was seen from Free SEO Pro user interface.
The country estimate specifies a general geographic association. A region can include a state, province or other administrative areas.
Depending on the geolocation provider an item location will be either a city, or an approximate location. Coordinates should not be interpreted as the actual physical location of a device.
A private, reserved, inactive, or unrecognized address might not have a meaningful public geographic result. A different city you can see than your own could be the result of a provider's network location, and not the location of a user.
Compare with another trustworthy source and investigate network context before making conclusions about things that they didn't expect.
Owners of the websites on the network may look up network addresses if they have abnormal traffic patterns. Test environments can be used to check with developer or for diagnosis of geographic routing differences. Records of authorized connections can be organized by the administrators to troubleshoot.
When appropriate, researchers can consider the study of a wide geographic distribution (provided suitable permissions and privacy protections are in place).
No single location estimate should be used to point the finger of blame at an individual or restrict access to any vital service or identifying an individual. More evidence and gentle consideration of such decisions should be given.
Typically a common error is using a domain name in place of a numeric IP address. Don't resolve a domain if it doesn't need resolving and keep in mind a domain may resolve to multiple addresses.
Another error is that of combining private addresses with public addresses. Network spaces 192.168.1.5 do not have clear locations worldwide and are based on a private network.
If a batch fails, remove the duplicates, reduce the number of items, verify formatting and verify that IPV6 is supported.
If there are discrepancies among the various databases, check the date of the update and/or the geographic accuracy mentioned in the source. Do not assume that seeing is seeing more detail.
Obviously IP geolocation is not GPS so it is only an Estimation. A VPN can make a connection seem to be coming from a network that is its exit network. Shared IP can mean many end users and end users can switch networks with their mobile connections.
There were no retention information, privacy, registration, pricing, rate limitation or export ability controls specified for the inspected page.

Also included in the list of network utilities provided by Free SEO Pro are My IP Address, Domain into IP, Class C IP Checker and Whois Checker.
My IP Address refers to the connection that is visible to a Web Site. Domain to ip issues are related to domain name resolution. Class C IP Checker relates to comparing the IP addresses (IPv4 range) and Whois Checker relates to domain registration information.
It's a category of tools to search geographic relationships to a set of various IP addresses. Results are not confirmed locations, but estimates made based on network information.
Bulk process is to batch multiple addresses with one workflow instead of doing individual checks. There is no confirmation on how many were accepted by Free SEO Pro.
An address by itself cannot be used to identify a specific person or household by any reliable IP geolocation service. A city that is reported can be a location on a network.
It is not known if this page is compatible with IPv6. When access has been restored, review its instructions and if there is no test address, test with a harmless documentation address.
It is dependent on the interface, which still couldn't be verified. Resolving your domain name to obtain a numeric address can be accomplished using an appropriate DNS application if it only works with numeric addresses.
City estimates tend to be less reliable than country estimates, although there is a margin for error there, as well. Accuracy is dependent on the data provider, address type and network environment.
Your address can be linked to your Internet service provider, virtual private network server, or a nearby network center in a database. City estimates are not guaranteed physical locations.
IP addresses like 192.168.1.5 are used again in a local network. They do not have the ability to themselves have a distinct geographic spot on the public web.
Often, yes. A look up can show the location of the VPN exit/server to the user, not the location of the user. Similar differences can result when using other network configurations.
GPS uses the signal from satellites and measurements of the device to determine associations, whereas IP Geolocation estimates associations based on information from the network. There are great differences in their precision and in the objects of their use.
The address can be private, reserved, inactive, unsupported or unavailable with the address provider. The lack of information does not necessarily mean suspicious activity.
A check was made for the current export options for Free SEO Pro, but could not be verified. Before assuming a restored interface has a download or copy control, look for it explicitly.
No one assumption based on location can prove to be malicious behavior. Investigate logs, patterns, authentication events, and other evidence prior to drawing a conclusion about an address's security.
Be sure to check the service's privacy policy and retention policies before using it. Do not communicate confidential information with an unconfirmed third party, particularly with regard to customer information.
Review address formats, contemplate VPNs and host networks, and evaluate trustworthy sites. Calculate inequalities that can be used as a clue, but not a conclusion about users' location.
